About the event
When the hammock is set below knee height, it brings us closer to the earth. We can play with the combination of having part of us on the ground and part of us lifted, rocking or swinging in the silk. It also provides a safer platform to practise tricks that involve standing in the fabric. The first part of this Aerial Yoga  workshop will be a flowing yoga class using the low hammock as support for various poses. After a short break, we will float into a more focused session in which we will learn and practise some fun and engaging tricks at a low height. Â
This workshop includes a virtual manual with step-by step instructions of the main tricks taught in the second part. Only 8 spaces available.Â
Facilitator Eve Cunard has been teaching yoga on the earth for over 20 years and in the air for almost 9 years. She enjoys introducing new students to this joyful and challenging practice that often transports us back to the lighthearted play of childhood. She also loves to support and encourage students to embrace more advanced poses, tricks and techniques.Â
