About the event
As the pelvic floor is often mentioned, but less frequently explained in depth, it tends to be cloaked in mystery. This three-layered arrangement of soft-tissue structures has the power to be both strong as well as soft and yielding. Along with supporting our organs, it plays a key role in controlling pressure as part of the soft cylinder that forms our inner core.
So much more than just the root lock (or Moola Bandha) known to yoga practitioners, the area has also been called the pelvic star due to its multiple fascial and muscular connections to the pelvis, torso and legs.
