About the event
Muscle imbalance is often the culprit keeping our bodies stuck in pain. In the first hour of this workshop, Dr. Sally Kipps will explain how inactivated muscles cause other muscles to overwork, which results in chronic pain and tension, and how to manage these issues. In the second hour, Sally will teach a vinyasa flow yoga class implementing some of these strategies.
Workshop facilitator, Sally Kipps, Â is a Doctor of Physiotherapy. She studied and worked abroad for 22 years, specialising in neurological conditions, before returning home to Cape Town in 2017. She found her way to yoga meditation philosophy through her own experience while living in Hawaii. Sally's knowledge is that all physical and mental obstacles require exploration and guidance to gain insight into their root cause. She now merges her medical experience with her training and belief in healing for the deeper levels of mind, body and energy in her practice as an Integrative Body Practitioner and a Therapeutic Yoga Teacher in Plettenberg Bay.Â
